Framing's complete around the spa vault — we formed the concrete vault, craned the spa in, and framed the deck around it. Now the surface goes down: repurposed 1×6 teak over pressure-treated framing with Hardie concrete fascia.

Our Own Home — a full transformation

Our flagship project: the full transformation of our own home, inside and out — starting with the exterior re-side.

Exterior re-side

The exterior was a full rebuild of the building envelope, not just new siding. We removed the stucco, installed a complete new window package, new Tyvek house wrap and new window flashing, and a rainscreen system that brings the walls up to today's best building practices — then finished it in Hardie fibre-cement siding with new soffit lighting.

Micro shaker doors, a white oak island and white oak floors, finished with quartz countertops. We removed the bulkhead and took the cabinetry right to the ceiling to give the room a grand feel — all custom made in our shop.
